Matthew 28:19

Experience God.
Grow Together.
Change Lives.

Experience God

We do this through our worship service, where we:

  1. Engage in corporate praise & worship,
  2. Experience the power of God through prophecy, healing, deliverance, and prayer, and
  3. Receive the word through the pastors & teachers here.

Grow Together

We do this through small group fellowship. Just like the early church of Christ as described in the book of Acts, we must connect with other believers through a small group infrastructure for genuine discipleship of the individuals that comprise this large body of believers.

As 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 points out, the body of Christ is made of many members who serve different functions that are all needed in connection with each other in order to fulfill God’s design for His people. You cannot fulfill God’s purpose on this earth for your life outside of community.

Change Lives

We do this by fulfilling the Great Commission of Christ. As Matthew 28:19-20 points out. Christ charged all of us, not just people in the pulpit, to change lives.

We also do this through using our gifts to serve one another. As 1 Peter 4:8-11 points out.

Time to rise up and do what He has called us to do in the earth. Spread truth and love.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe there is one God eternally existent in three distinct persons in one divine essence - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.”

We believe that God the Father is the first person of the Trinity and is the eternal, unchanging, all-powerful, all-knowing, all-wise, all-loving, completely just and perfectly holy, sovereign Ruler and Sustainer of the universe. He is the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Father of all true believers.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. To accomplish our redemption, He became fully human, being conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus Christ, who is true God and true man, by His perfect obedience and substitutionary death on the cross, has purchased our redemption. In the same body He was crucified, Jesus rose from the dead for our justification. He ascended into Heaven, where He is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding as the high priest. He will come again with glory to judge the living and the dead. His kingdom will never end.

The Holy Spirit is a divine person eternally one with the Father and with the Son. He convicts people of sin, persuades them to confess their sinfulness to God, and calls them to faith through the Gospel. He regenerates, sanctifies, and preserves believers in the one true faith. He comforts, guides, equips, directs, and empowers the church to fulfill the great commission. The Holy Spirit desires to fill each believer continually with increased power for Christian life, and imparts His supernatural gifts for the edification of the body and for various works of ministry in the world. All the gifts of the Holy Spirit at work in the church of the first century are available today, are vital for the mission of the church, and are to be earnestly desired and practiced.

We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for forgiveness of sins and salvation, which is the free gift of God’s grace. Salvation is effected by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit and cannot be secured by man’s works or personal merit.
